UniDec
------
UniDec helps you decode Unicode characters to the characters representable on your Palm.
Unicode strings can appear on your Palm after receiving vCards and other information from PocketPC or Symbian devices where Unicode is a default character encoding. For the first half of single-byte codepage (first 127 characters) UTF-8 encoded Unicode strings look the same as the ASCII strings. But all other characters are encoded in two or more bytes and cannot be displayed on the Palm. But with UniDec you can select UTF-8 encoded text in any application and decode it to the codepage of your Palm device.

Requirements
------------
- Palm OS 3.5
- 10K free memory (up to 150K for multi-byte codepages)

Installation
------------
Use HotSync installation tool to install main program file (UniDec.prc) and one or several codepage mapping databases (from the folder Mapping). Afterwards start UniDec on your Palm, select the mapping table and activate it. Then you will be able to decode from Unicode any selected text in any application.

Usage
-----
After UniDec is activated you can select text in any application, call command bar (by entering the menu shortcut) and push appeared UniDec button. Selected text will be decoded and replaced in your edit field.
